The Smart2Go project aims to develop an autonomous energy supply platform for wearable electronics and the manufacturing processes for such a platform. For such a platform, the flexibility, thickness and weight are essential for the integration and wearing experience. Therefore, the developed platform and all its components should allow a bending radius of 1.5 cm and have a total thickness of less than 0.6 mm and a specific weight of less than 20 g/100 cm2. For a simple adaptation to a variety of different applications, a freedom of design and form is also required. For this reason, the Smart2Go platform will be scalable in size (between 8 and 100 cm2) and in length and width according to application needs. The visual appearance (color, degree of transparency) will also be customizable to the respective application. Each unit will be capable for an output power of 60 mW and a storage capacity up to 110 mWh.
